Glenda, LeeAnn, Carolina, Candice, Liz R. and Liz D. will be in the building every day. 

All support staff will report to the building 4 days per week. The Remote Day is Tuesday. If you have any concerns about your report days, please contact Glenda and Liz. 

• School Reopening Plan - Please refer to our PPT presentation from the PD on 3/16/21.
• Message from Kim - Family decisions for in-person or remote: There is incredible importance to communicating that parents are making a final decision for this school year.
• Data Center - there will be a distinguised way of showing that a person in attendance in person vs remote.  Details to come.
• Specialists will be allowed to travel from class to class with expected mask wearing, physical distancing, contract tracing etc.
• Contract Tracing Logs must be posted outside every classroom/workspace.
• Clinical staff are allowed to support students in-person.  This was a question from a Lynn Community Health clinician school-based and expected to follow proper protocols
• TECCA students may return/opt-in to in-person learning
• 2 upcoming dates (3/27 & 4/10) for teachers to set up classrooms: If a grade 3-5 teacher would like to come in on 3/27 instead of 4/10 that is OK...each CLASSROOM TEACHER has a total of 4 hours
• Reopening- Rooms 100, 220 & G1 (PreK) students have arrived!!
• Cleaning will occur in between sessions, and teachers must step out of their classroom for 15 minutes.  This is a mandate.

• Please note that all teachers in shared space, will be given a personal workspace to work at.

Technology:

• Please submit tickets to helpdesk for staff computer issues, even if you are calling helpdesk.
• iReady - The district opened the tools in iReady to use. The instructional side is open for teachers to use as well.
• Expectations - ST Math Minutes - some students have extraordinary high numbers for ST Math.  Please remind students to log onto the other resources that we have as well.  Also, please tell students that they do not need to be on ST Math for 2 hours.  30 minute is sufficient.
• Subs - Please update sub folders.

Staff Information:

• K Licensure Meeting - On Monday, March 22 @2:30.
• Observations -  ongoing!
• Artifacts/Evidence - For Non-professional status Teachers: All artifacts are due to Glenda and Liz by April 20. Professional Status Teachers submit their evidence by May 1st. If you have any questions regarding evidence, artifacts and/or TeachPoint submissions, please connect with Glenda. Cyndi and Tracey G. will be holding a drop-in session for any questions about Teachpoint evidence submission on Wednesday, 3/24 @ 2:30pm.

• Updated Class Assignments - Click Here (This has been updated as of 3/5/2021 to include bathroom assignments for both adults and students at Connery.)

Technology Issues

• Please remember to submit all technology issues to the Helpdesk by emailing: servicedesk@lynnschools.org . Be sure to provide as many details as possible including name of user having issue (email or stu#), problem, program being used, etc.
• Please enter tickets for EACH problem they encounter with as much information as possible included.

Looking Ahead

• March 29 & 31 - Soft Opening for Kindergarten
• March 30 - ESL Staff Meeting 8:30-10:00am
• April 1 - Kindergarten students return to school
• April 2 - No School - Good Friday
• April 5-9 - Grades 1 & 2 - Soft Opening: Teacher orientation, classroom set-up and Hybrid learning begins
