Operational:

PLT's are ELA with Cyndi and Tracey

Thank you for the support that you have given us at Connery this week. There were a lot of unnexpected absences, and many of you stepped in to care for our students and our school. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Attendance - Please post your attendance on time. This should be a part of your daily routine. If you need support with integrating this in your morning schedule, Glenda and Liz are happy to help.
F&P Benchmarks - In K, kids that are reading should now be a part of the benchmarking. Please get started.
ACCESS Window at Connery - January 6 - February 4. Please review the school calendar and notes on information for who is not available during testing dates.
School Improvement Plan - I need 4 staff members to work with me on the SIP Action Plan for Connery. This work is a total of 6 hours and needs to be completed by February 18, 2022. If you are interested in joining a team with me to plan our the goals for our school, please email me ASAP.

Assessment Calendar - please note that the assessment calendar was updated. Click here for all dates including the Star Rennaissance Expectations.

New Staff Information:

All absences are put into Frontline Education. Full day requests are the only option. Contact your CIT if you are planning a personal day.

For sick days text Glenda, Liz, and your CIT in the morning. This communication is more efficient than email.

Technology:

Laptops: Please remind students to bring their laptops charged daily! All students in Grades 1-5 must bring their laptops charged each day. Please assist your students in updating their laptops when necessary. Please contact Ms. Dunnigan if a student does NOT bring in his/her laptop.

Health and Safety:

Recess has presented an increase of injuries. The injuries occur most during activities that are unstructured. Please use this resource guide as a means to support full class activities.
Please remind students to wear their masks properly. Here is an awesome PPT that Marla, our behavioral specialist created.
Routine COVID testing: CIC health will be here at 10am on Wednesday to continue our weekly pool testing.
Connery Do Not Admit List: PendingResultsLog_DoNotAdmit_Connery.xlsx Please be sure to check the COVID do no admit list daily to see if your student requires a COVID test before they may return to school following an absence or dismissal.

Misc. Info: Inventory for Professional Development - please complete so that we can track the books that we each have in our classrooms.

Technology Issues

Please remember to submit all technology issues to the Helpdesk by emailing: servicedesk@lynnschools.org . Be sure to provide as many details as possible including name of user having issue (email or stu#), problem, program being used, etc.
Please enter tickets for EACH problem they encounter with as much information as possible included.
