- Winter Vacation is almost here! Please take time to rest and recharge.
- The 100th Day of School is here! ( February 17th for Grades PreK and Kindergarten)
- Let's collaborate and plan new and inclusive tasks with our grade-level teams to mark this fun event.
- New Teachers - Formative/Mid Cycle Evaluations have been posted to your TeachPoint. Please review these evaluations and then sign them. Also, sign any other TeachPoint forms that are unsigned. If you have any questions, please see Glenda and Liz.
- Planning Expectations - Please send us your sub plans when you are out. Especially if you are out for a series of days. Remember that sub folders are for unexpected emergencies. Since our school structure is set up to plan during PLTs for a week out, all lessons should already be planned for the following week. Therefore, we ask that you share your most updated plans so that students do not fall behind and so that our classes are moving along at the same typical pace as their grade level peers.
- If you aren't well, please let us know of a team member that can share your grade level plans.
- As a reminder, when you have an absence you need to contact Glenda, Liz and your CIT before 8am. Also, your absence must be posted in AESOP before 8am.
- Peer Observations - scheduling is underway and teachers have already observed others. If you have not begun peer observations, please reach out to your CITs and/or Math Teacher.
- Small Group Observations - Glenda and Liz will be coming around to all classrooms to observe small groups after Winter Break. Small groups should be taking place in both ELA and Math. Please ensure that you have a rotation board/schedule visible, differentiated activities/skills connected to the whole group learning or grade-level fluency standards. Classroom teachers should be planning and implementing Guided Reading or Strand 1 lessons in ELA and planned and targeted small group lessons in Math.
