Operational:
PLT's are with Cyndi and Tracey this week
We will be creating Class Lists for next year's classrooms
- Forsythe Dental will be here on Monday and Tuesday.
- The MCAS Dance and MultiCultural Night were a big success!!
- Thank you to all our staff, students and their families for coming together to support these community activities.
- Morning Duties - Classroom teachers and supports are supposed to arrive at school by 8:15 and are on active duty that time. Please make sure that all staff (including support staff) are outside to pickup classes at 8:15. Support staff that have preps in the morning can start their prep at 8:20.
- Please do not prop doors open at any time during the school day. This is a safety issue and we have heard from a few of our parents that this is a concern.
- Connery Beautification Project - This summer, Liz, Glenda, and Kim will work collaboratively to organize and declutter Connery Companeros in preparation for the reopening of our school as a new Dual Language.
- If you are interested, please let us know that you'd like to volunteer.
- If you know of parents that might be interested in this work, please let Glenda and Liz know.
- The Math Deparment is offering paid summer Professional Development at Connery for Illustrative Math. It will be for all grade levels and the teacher hourly rate. Please let Glenda and Liz know if you are available the week of August 16th.
- Drop in Sessions will also be available for the Interdisciplinary Units this summer.
- If a student arrives in your classroom after 8:30, they must be sent to the office immediately. The office will mark them tardy.
- If you notice students in the hallway prior to 8:15, please advise them to go back outside.
- TeachPoint - Please sign all your documents in teachpoint before your leave for the summer.
- Summer School: Springboard for students in current grades K, 1, 2 and 3. Springboard - Please apply if you haven't done so already. The program is still looking for ten more teachers, so all that have applied will most likely be able to work the program.
