This Week's Schedule


Things to Consider
  • New Connery Staff - We are offering an optional New Staff Orientation (socially distanced in the library). At this meeting, we will discuss operations and share important information about curriculum materials.  Please confirm via email if you are interested in attending.
  • All Staff - Please be prepared with the following materials for PD:
    • Bring a fully charged laptop and charger to PD
    • Bring a set of headphones for your laptop
    • Log into Schoology prior to PD 
    • Log into Caring Schools Community prior to PD
    • Bring the following resources/materials:
      • Your Moral Imperative from last year (have it with you Wednesday)
      • Your resource binder on Monday and one at a time, pick up new materials from your mailbox to add to it (new staff will receive one)
      • Your F&P book (new staff will receive one at the library)
      • Your own pen and paper to write on
  • Opening and Closing Circles - We are still looking for volunteers that are willing to take on an opening or closing circle for week 2 of PD.  Please email Glenda or Liz if you are interested!
  • Please refer to zoom link in email for Monday's PD.  I can't wait to see all of you!
New Systems and Operations for SY 2021

  • PD will occur remotely from your assigned classroom 
    • If you typically share a space and are uncomfortable in doing so, please send Glenda and Liz an email.
  • Masks must be worn at all times! The only expeception is if you are in a location alone.  The hallway is not one of these locations.  Masks must be worn in common spaces.
  • There is new protocol for signing into work:
    • Please bring your own pen.  
    • When you sign into work, you are confirming that you do not have a fever or COVID symptoms.
    • There will be two sign in locations. One at the front and one in the back
  • You must remain 6ft apart at all times when transitioning withing the building.
  • Entering the building: All staff members on the 1st floor must enter through the front door.  All staff members on the Ground and 2nd floor must enter through the rear entrance.
  • Office Use: Only 2 people can be in the office at a time.  If you need to communicate with LeeAnn or Carolina, you may stand at the 6ft mark at the entrance of the office.
  • Mailbox Use: Only 1 person at a time can be at the mailboxes.  Please wait outside of the office is someone is at the mailbox.
  • Copy Room: Only 2 people can be in the copy room at a time, and must maintain a social distance for the full time in the copy room.
  • Food: It is with great sadness that I share that breakfast and lunch must be bagged lunches from home.  Unfortunately, it is a health risk to congregate around food or share food with others.  Therefore, we will not have food out during our PD.
    • Please make sure to plan appropriately for this.
