This Week's Schedule



Things to Consider
  • Week 2 Updates - For access to files and links during Week 2 of our PD, please keep your Schoology page open in a tab on your laptop.
  • Orientation Schedule - This will be discussed during the week.
    • During this calendar week, Liz and I may ask to meet with Grade Level or Department Teams; however, we are giving all staff members time to prepare for Orientation and the start of school for the majority of this week.
  • Connery School Calendar - Please feel free to email any questions.  PD/Staff Meetings are weekly in lieu of Night Backs.
  • Reminder for all- Please be prepared with the following materials for PD:
    • Bring a fully charged laptop and charger to PD
    • Bring a set of headphones for your laptop (if at school)
    • Log into Schoology prior to PD 
    • Bring the following resources/materials:
      • Your Moral Imperative from last week (have it with you Friday)
      • Your F&P book (All staff should pick up a copy if you don't have one with you.)
      • Your own pen and paper to write on
  • Opening and Closing Circles -Thank you to all of our volunteers, and for those that graciously accepted when asked.

New Systems and Operations for SY 2021

  • PD will occur remotely from your assigned classroom (if in school)
    • If you typically share a space and are uncomfortable in doing so, please send Glenda and Liz an email.
  • Masks must be worn at all times! The only expeception is if you are in a location alone.  The hallway is not one of these locations.  Masks must be worn in common spaces.
  • There is new protocol for signing into work:
    • Please bring your own pen.  
    • When you sign into work, you are confirming that you do not have a fever or COVID symptoms.
    • There will be two sign in locations. One at the front and one in the back.
      • First Floor Staff please enter through main entrance.  
      • Ground Level and Second Floor Staff, please enter through rear badge entrance.
  • You must remain 6ft apart at all times when transitioning withing the building.
  • Entering the building: All staff members on the 1st floor must enter through the front door.  All staff members on the Ground and 2nd floor must enter through the rear entrance.
  • Office Use: Only 2 people can be in the office at a time.  If you need to communicate with LeeAnn or Carolina, you may stand at the 6ft mark at the entrance of the office.
  • Mailbox Use: Only 1 person at a time can be at the mailboxes.  Please wait outside of the office if someone is at the mailbox.
  • Copy Room: Only 2 people can be in the copy room at a time, and must maintain a social distance for the full time in the copy room.
  • Food: It is with great sadness that I share that breakfast and lunch must be bagged lunches from home.  Unfortunately, it is a health risk to congregate around food or share food with others.  Therefore, we will not have food out during our PD.
    • Please make sure to plan appropriately for this.
