Things to Consider

• PPE - Shields will be available when students return. All staff should wear an appropriately fitted mask.  Please wear masks that are snug around your nose.
• The wipes in the halls are only for surfaces.
• Communication - It is expected that all staff check their email daily and read the weekly update.  You are responsible for the information that is shared in this form of communication.

• Please note that all support staff and specialist are currently engaged in important tasks that are required for the start of the school year decided by myself and/or department heads. In addition to those tasks, we will create a schedule to ensure that at least one additional adult is in each class to support small group instruction time.
• School and schedules are expected to be launched on September 23rd as presented in our Shared Dricve.  This is the first week of school, there is flexibility in your planning for connecting with students and setting routines and procedures.
• Connery School Calendar - In response to some questions, please note the following: Monthly Faculty Meetings, Preps 4x weekly, and PLC/PD 1x weekly (night back is included to this day)
• We sill discuss further at our PD on Tuesday 2:30-3:30 (remote from within the school)

• Substitutes - Our school is going to be set up in a Triad this year in order to support absences.
• Substitues will no longer be scheduled in Aesop/FrontLine.  At the elementaery level, substitutes will be the building substitutes, art, gym and music teachers.  The TRIADs are necessary for smaller schools who have fewer resources to draw on. Our school is grouped with Lincoln and Drewicz.

• Outreach - During the first three weeks and beginning on September 23, please have teachers plan for 1x weekly  outreah to each student/family.  Communication logs are not an expectation.

• Superintendent Goals - 1. All students connected to technology- Device, Internet, and Schoology by the third week of school. 2. Attendance will be at 95% by the third week into school.
