- IMPORTANT REMINDER: COVID -19 Safety Protocols- All staff must follow all the recommended Safety Protocols that have been explained throughout the year. All staff MUST stay in their 6 ft. Teacher Zone throughout the day. Each classroom has a 3 ft. perimeter that staff can use to walk around the classroom. Students need to stay in their seats throughout the school day. During small groups, students must sit at least 3ft. from each other and from the teacher.
- Attendance - Please make sure that attendance is posted correctly because this is important to our contact tracing.
- May 5th - Half Day - (We will dsimiss with a regualr staggered dismissal starting at 11:00-11:15. Please support us with family outreach about times.)
- At 11:20, we will begin our 2 hour PD session - Module 5.
- Artifacts - Due today, 4/30!
- Summer School - There will be funding to have Summer School. There is an option to have programming onsite this summer for half a day 4 days a week for 1 month. All of the logistics have not been worked out, but we do need to know who would be interested in participating in a Summer School program. If you are, please send me an email ASAP.
- EdCite Fix - It has been reported that if a student changes their password, Edcite will work.
- Simultaneous Instruction - Message from Dr. Tutwiler HERE.
- Mask Break Plan - Mask Break is a time to get outside, enjoy the fresh air while students have their snack. They must all be sitting down for the entire Mask Break and socially distanced (6 ft. apart if masks are off) during snack time. Mask Break Plan
- Please have your students clean up all the trash outside at Mask Break. A trash barrel has been provided for your trash outside.
- Bathroom Procedures - Reminder only 1 student needs to go to the bathroom at a time. All grade 3-5 students must sign in and out of their classrooms.
- Attendance Guidance - If an in-person student does not report to school but does log into the remote learning from home this student needs to be put in as "P" (Present off campus). An inquiry should be made from the Social Worker, Nurse, Principal, or teacher to see if everything is ok and to inquire why the student is not in school. This year, we will practice grace and compassion: it is more important that we have our students accessing their education rather than not coming at all.
- Updated Classroom Assignments - Assignments
- Schedule - The new schedules are in SharePoint. They do not have adjusted staggered times. You may adjust times if needed, but we do not want to adjust small group time as it will impact all support staff.

- Subs - Please update sub folders and the Zoom Excel spreadsheet on SharePoint.
- Update Your Zoom Information - Zoom Information
- Student Passwords Info from Tim Roach - With this process each student will get prompted and should be able to do this on their own. I do realize younger students may need help understanding what they are being asked, and hopefully a parent or sibling will be able to help. If this happens in school, the teacher can just explain this is a standard process and can help with the resetting of their password. This may be a good time to explain the importance of a private password, as well as keeping safe and secure while on a computer. I do not recommend we pick a password for all students to use, as that is a big security risk. Keep in mind when we got the virus 2 years ago, it was able to manipulate each computer because they all had the same administrator password. This would act the same way if a virus should infect a computer and able to gain access to other student accounts using the same password. I know teachers like to know the students password, but that is also a security risk, especially when trying to identify which account may have done something. If everyone has the same password, a student may not be able to be held accountable if other people have the same password.
- Observations - ongoing! We will be joining small groups either in person or on your Zoom.
