Things to Consider
Please read the weekly update carefully.

Glenda, LeeAnn, Carolina, Candice, Liz R. and Liz D. will be in the building every day.
All support staff will report to the building 5 days per week. This is the last week for remote work. If you have any concerns about your report days, please contact Glenda and Liz.
- Simultaneous Instruction - Message from Dr. Tutwiler HERE.
- Schedule - The new schedules are in SharePoint. They do not have adjusted staggered times. You may adjust times if needed, but we do not want to adjust small group time as it will impact all support staff.
- Specialists will beginning their new schedules after April vacation.
- Retention - This year a student may be retained. Liz and I will be holding meetings on Monday 5th, Thursday 8th and Friday 9th between 1:15-2:30. Please connect with us if you would like to set up a meeting and we will set you the Light's Retention Scale to help you with your decisions.
- Due April 16th to admin
- Report Cards - We have had conversations with admin. This year is not like last year or last marking term. All students have the resources they need so if they are failing, they must be marked as such.
- Report card verifications are due to admin. Please Glenda and Liz know when your have completed your reports. (Reminder: they need to reflect the grades of the students.)
- Return - On the date of return to in person learing, all remote students will work asynchronously for an hour. Please make sure that your remote students know that you will begin later in the day.
- All in-person students will receive a water bottle. Please label them with a sharpie. They will be distributed in the near future.

Technology:
- Resources for Laptop and Smartboard Use (Simultaneous Teaching) - Classroom Technology Help, Setting up Zoom for Simultaneous Learning, and Speaker Setup.
- Expectations - ST Math Minutes - some students have extraordinary high numbers for ST Math. Please remind students to log onto the other resources that we have as well. Also, please tell students that they do not need to be on ST Math for 2 hours. 30 minute is sufficient.

- Artifacts/Evidence - For Non-professional status Teachers: All artifacts are due to Glenda and Liz by April 20. Professional Status Teachers submit their evidence by May 1st. If you have any questions regarding evidence, artifacts and/or TeachPoint submissions, please connect with Glenda.

- Trimester Two Closing Date for grades: March 26th ***no change from original schedule

Elementary Report Card Schedule 2nd Trimester TAC Users
- Marking Period Closes on Friday, March 26, 2021
- TAC will be ready for ERC 2nd Trimester Grade entry on Wednesday, March 24, 2021
Grade Entry
- All Grades should be entered into TAC by 12 pm on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
Mark Verification
- By Monday, April 5th in the afternoon you will receive a copy of your Report Cards via email for each student. We ask that you review this copy for any data entry errors. If you need to make any correction, you can simply go back into TAC and make your correction. Each teacher should notify the office that they have reviewed their copy and completed making any changes that are necessary by Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in the morning.
Technology Issues
Looking Ahead- Please remember to submit all technology issues to the Helpdesk by emailing: servicedesk@lynnschools.org . Be sure to provide as many details as possible including name of user having issue (email or stu#), problem, program being used, etc.
- Please enter tickets for EACH problem they encounter with as much information as possible included.
