Things to Consider
Please read the weekly update carefully.

All staff will report to the building 5 days per week.
  • Thank You!- Glenda and Liz want to express our tremendous gratitude for continuing to hold high expectations for all your students despite the crazy circumstances that we were all dealing with this year. We appreciate all that you do to engage students and their families.
  • Report cards will be sent electronically to families on June 17th by School Messenger.
  • Summer Reading - Grade 5 summer reading books will be distributed to students by the end of school
  • Summer Learning Coordinator - Liz Ruiz has agreed to be our Summer Learning Coordinator. We need your help to gather 10-15 students per class.  Please promote this great learning opportunity for our students during the last weeks of school. We still need additional students to complete programming.
  • Grade 5 Summer Arts Opportunity - Days in the Arts (DARTs), the Boston Symphony Orchestra's Summer Program. The BSO is running a free, asynchronous virtual version of the program this summer. (Mr. Waldron will have flyers for students.)
Technology:
  • From Tim Roach:   Unless students are leaving the district, they will keep their current devices for the summer which should allow for a smooth start in the fall. There are a few schools we have coordinated replacements in the coming weeks, which has not changed. I didn’t want this email to confuse those plans. We will coordinate a return of the Kindergarten iPads, in exchange of laptops over the summer. Once I have a schedule for this, we will be sure to let everyone know when it will be. I am hoping we can have a good turnout. We will also include incoming kindergarten students for these pickups as well.
  • Resources for Laptop and Smartboard Use (Simultaneous Teaching) - Classroom Technology HelpSetting up Zoom for Simultaneous Learning, and Speaker Setup.
  • Subs - Please update sub folders and the Zoom Excel spreadsheet on SharePoint.
  • Update Your Zoom Information - Zoom Information
Staff Information:
Misc. Info:
  • Ingalls and Connery will support registration by placing a touchless box outside with enrollment forms outside of our school doors from 9-2.
  • Book Inventory for Professional Development
  • No Contact List - Like last year, we ask that you add no contact or no attendance students to the following form:
                                                                    District Updates

    Technology Issues
    • Please remember to submit all technology issues to the Helpdesk by emailing: servicedesk@lynnschools.org . Be sure to provide as many details as possible including name of user having issue (email or stu#), problem, program being used, etc.
    • Please enter tickets for EACH problem they encounter with as much information as possible included.
