This Week's Schedule
Friday, November 5, 2021
- Small Parking Lot - The small parking lot on the right side of the school building can only accommodate a few cars. These spaces need to be for office staff and any staff members who visit throughout the day. All Connery staff should park in the school yard each day unless you have been designated to park in the small parking lot.
- Renaissance Testing -
- Renaissance assessments will take place the next two weeks. You will find the schedule below--each class is scheduled during small group time. Grades 3-5 have two testing sessions--one for Spanish and one for English. Grades K-2 have three sessions--one session for each Spanish, English, and RAN. Please refer to the attached flow chart to determine which assessments your students will be taking.
- Headphones and mice will be provided for all students.
- The headphones must be used during testing.
- The assessments should be administered in small groups.
- The expectation is that support staff who service the classrooms during the testing will assist with administration.

- Our homework this year will include RazKids for 15-20 minutes a day.
- All Running Records should be completed.
- District Assessment Calendar - Click Here.
- The district shared that by the end of the school year, one blended learning unit should be completed . Our goal is that we complete this by May 2022.
- iReady Fall Diagnostic Testing ended today. Diagnostic results need to be placed in Data Folders. Email Katie if you need help with how to batch reports.
- Make sure that End of Unit Assessments makeups are being done ASAP.
- Lessons should be created using Connery's Math Lesson Structure.
- Kid Friendly Objectives should be posted in classroom and accessible to students.
- Send your Night Back lists to Katie, Glenda and Liz. We will continue to track Math Fluency growth for this group throughout the year.
- All absences are put into Frontline Education. Full day requests are the only option. Contact your CIT if you are planning a personal day.
Laptops: Please remind students to bring their laptops charged daily! All students in Grades 1-5 must bring their laptops charged each day. Please assist your students in updating their laptops when necessary.
- If there are students who consistently forget to pack their laptop, you can send their names to Ms. Dunnigan or the CIT's and we will make phone calls home to remind parents.
- If we do not hear about your student and their missing laptop then we assume that every student has a working laptop with them each day.
- This will be a process to get everyone on board remembering to pack their laptops charged daily, but after a few calls home we believe that the problem will be solved.
- Recess has created a slight increase at the nurse's office. Please remember that recess can be an opportunity for community engagement. In the past, we use this resource guide as a means to support full class activities.
- Please remind students to wear their masks properly. Here is an awesome PPT that Marla, our behavioral specialist created.
- Please remember to submit all technology issues to the Helpdesk by emailing: servicedesk@lynnschools.org . Be sure to provide as many details as possible including name of user having issue (email or stu#), problem, program being used, etc.
- Please enter tickets for EACH problem they encounter with as much information as possible included.
