Operational:
No PLT's

- Thank you for the shared lessons on Nearpod.
- Teachpoint - Artifacts are due on January 15 - they should support your standards, goal, and parent outreach. These can cover more than one of the mentioned areas, and you should not submit more than 4. Please remember that Liz and I will also include additional information in your evaluations.
- Snowdays - Traditional days will occur this year (no remote). The only exception would be if we had a prolonged period of snow.
- Classroom Closure - Parents have been asking about school closures, if you are questions you can direct them to Glenda or remind them that this decision is a DESE and Department of Health decision.
- Grades - Will be distributed on December 22nd at the end of the school day.
- Running Records - Prioritize those students that you think have made increases in their reading so that the change can be reflected on the report cards and discussed during upcoming Parent Conferences.
- Please make sure that the teacher who did the running record in September is the same person that completed running records in December to maintain consistency.
- Reading Teachers - Interventions began last week.
- Book Fair - Begins December 13th.

Math
- Blended Learning Planning - You should have had a unit/lesson picked by December 15th and complete a task in Nearpod (our half day). Have your completed lesson and video completed by the end of January and submit to Katie L.
- Continue to monitor progress on iReady.

New Staff Information:
- All absences are put into Frontline Education. Full day requests are the only option. Contact your CIT if you are planning a personal day.
- For sick days text Glenda, Liz, and your CIT in the morning. This communication is more efficient than email.
Technology:
Laptops: Please remind students to bring their laptops charged daily! All students in Grades 1-5 must bring their laptops charged each day. Please assist your students in updating their laptops when necessary. Please contact Ms. Dunnigan if a student does NOT bring in his/her laptop.
Staff Information:
Health and Safety:
- Recess has presented an increase of injuries. The injuries occur most during activities that are unstructure. Please use this resource guide as a means to support full class activities.
- Please remind students to wear their masks properly. Here is an awesome PPT that Marla, our behavioral specialist created.
- Routine COVID testing: CIC health will be here at 10am on Wednesday to continue our weekly pool testing.
- Connery Do Not Admit List:

Misc. Info: Inventory for Professional Development - please complete so that we can track the books that we each have in our classrooms.
Technology Issues
Looking Ahead- Please remember to submit all technology issues to the Helpdesk by emailing: servicedesk@lynnschools.org . Be sure to provide as many details as possible including name of user having issue (email or stu#), problem, program being used, etc.
- Please enter tickets for EACH problem they encounter with as much information as possible included.
